What a great way to get a comprehensive overview of WWII, and really all in one hour! With fighting, invasions, and action in so many different locations, WWII can be overwhelming to understand. This book clarifies the second 20th-century war that literally re-shaped European countries, international politics and attitudes, and our world today. It is so true that, to understand the present, we must understand the past. This is a perfect place to begin. Interesting, well-written, and easy to read - it's a page-turner.
