The second volume of the Death of Superman Trilogy. This volume continues just after the incredible battle between Superman and a creature by the name of Doomsday. This book continues showing characters trying to go on with thier lives after Superman's death. But is Superman really dead? You'll have to read to find out!

the book anewered many of my questions from the death of superman. It also tells what the after math is to the death of superman, and what happenes when he is gone.

The dust has cleared and the unstoppable killing machine Doomsday has been stopped, but unfortunately The Man Of Steel is lost as well. Now just HOW exactly does a world carry on without it's Greatest Hero, we find out here. The funeral procession was unlike anything I've ever seen in a comic before. It was almost as if this really happened in real life and the whole world was watching. Having President Clinton and the First Lady there was a nice touch. Bill's words were almost exactly what he would say had this REALLY happened. The most touching scene I saw, was when Jonathan and Martha buried their son's valued things; a teddy bear and a baseball glove. This TPB, along with Death/Return of Superman should in fact be put in a movie, for Dan Jurgens and company hit all the right notes. Once again I tip my Yankees Hat to Christopher Reeve, who made us all believe a man could fly.
