At last, a happy ending from a 1950s paperback. I have never read this one before,but many of the others. The ones with the suicides lnstitutions turning tio men,etc Negative, self loathing. Yes, we now had a genre of our own. I was 12 when i read "We Walk Alone" I kept reading,trying to find somethiing I could relate to. I'm not like that. I couldn't relate and the atories scared me....So I married, then divorced raised two sons with the help of the lesbian community. and my loved one for 27 years. It has been a year and a half since I pla ed her ashes in the Pacific Ocean;with our two sons and thirty yers of friends standing with me It took me until I went back to college at the age of 30 before I made love with a womanWas this review helpful?
