"The World¿s End" is a great, well-written novel for intermediate readers. You can really notice that Joan D Vinge put a lot time and thoughts into the "World's End" while he wrote it. The descriptions of the setting in the book are real clear and quite easy to catch an image of it in your mind. There aren't a lot of dynamic characters, but some like Spadrin and Gedda really stand out. The story is well thought out, and has few curves thrown at you at random. The Worlds End is full of mysterious which helps the plot spread fluently as you read, and it also seems as if every character you'll encounter is hiding his or her true ambitions. In closing words, I can say that Joan D Vinge put together a well polished book, that I would recommend to the intermediate level readers.
