    outdated material, good reading

The books is easy good reading with lots of interesting little stories and incidents. The book seems outdated but still a good beginner book. Not as much mathematics and probability as a greatest book would hold.

    A good buy

This book definitely has a lot of information, however some of the material is obsolete, some 30% or more of it, since it deals with 1 and 2 deck games and casinos rules as they were in the 70's.It should have been revised...However the book is 400 pages, and they do deal with 4+ decks as well. It has sound strategies and an easy to learn card counting technique with interesting statistics related to the system they cover .Its packed with many entertaining stories about their gambling experiences.I found it hard to put down reading them. This book is pretty good.
