The World's Healthiest Foods is a great reference book, with practical applications and recipes. Detailed nutrition information about each of these superfoods, and even health benefits of spices. The food rankings are great, and some are quite surprising-like that strawberries are the best overall nutritional fruit.

Great in depth book on food and how to prepare it to get the most nutrition!!!! Very detailed. Is not the best book for e reading since it is hard to go to the page you want or to get to the info on a particular food. It is a very large book that I will use for a reference book and the hard Copy would be a better choice for this use. Everyone should have this book in their kitchen!!!!

I thought I had been preparing well balanced meals for my family until I read this book. It has been a eye opener as to the correct way to store, wash and prepare vegetables and fruit and not diminish the nutritional value. I had a doctor tell me once that she was very careful about what she puts in her body. If you think about that, you will realize that it is important to be educated as to the best foods to put into your body. If you eat properly, it eliminates the need to use many synthetic products and vitamins and your body will stay healthier. This book far exceeding my expectations by providing all of that information. The recipes are easy and quick and surprising enough, tasty when prepared properly.

This has recipes and cooking techniques that are practical as well as sustainable. Everything is detailed and explained. I really wish B&N would make his other books available. I highly recommend this one.

Wonderful. Fresh food, excellent recipes. I would recommend to anyone who has been looking to cook healthier meals. The recipes are quick and simple. The information regarding ingredient and methods... extremely informative. The book is an exploration into healthy eating. The introduction meal planner was a very fun to pick and choose from. This cookbook should not be overlooked for its information and simplicity of use was well worth every penny.
