Ralph P. Martin (1925—2013) was distinguished scholar in residence at Fuller Theological Seminary, Haggard School of Theology, Azusa Pacific University, and Logos Evangelical Seminary in El Monte, California. He wrote numerous studies and commentaries on the New Testament, includingWorship in the Early Church, the volume on Philippiansin The Tyndale New Testament Commentary series, and Jamesin the Word Biblical Commentary, for which he also served as New Testament editor.
