Overview

Can two lost souls find their way to love?

Worth It, Book 4

Anastasia Renaldi’s life is a complete lie. Disinherited from the family fashion-accessory business and informed she’s the illegitimate daughter of the famous—and long-dead—Michael Worth of Worth Luxury, she has no one to turn to. No real family, no job, no identity to claim. Lost and confused, she turns to the one man who can help her obtain what is rightfully hers.

Attorney Gavin Westmore is hired to discover the truth. Does Stasia Renaldi have a stake to claim in the Worth empire? From the moment he meets her, Gavin knows what sort of woman Stasia is. Calculating, devious—she won’t let anything or anyone get in the way of her pursuit of a fortune. As long as he can collect his generous fee, he’s fine with it.

But Gavin soon discovers his perception of Stasia is wrong. She truly is confused, a sweet, ambitious woman who wants what rightfully belongs to her. Soon they’re spending lots of time together—and it goes beyond the attorney/client type meetings. The only question is, after untangling the web of lies to get to the truth, whether there will be any room left for love.

Warning: A secret Worth sister? Yes, indeed. Not only will you catch a glimpse of all those delicious Worth brothers one last time, you’ll get to know their sweet, feisty sister—and the man who’ll tame her. All in the name of love.

Surprise! The Worth brothers have a baby ½ sister. At the read

Surprise! The Worth brothers have a baby ½ sister. At the reading of her fathers will Anastasia Renaldi finds out at that she is not his biological daughter and she has been dis-inherited. She can’t work for the company she has worked for since she was 13. Her brothers (the Renaldi's) can’t help her unless they too want to be dis-inherited. She travels to New York to meet with the Worths but they are understandable leery. Enter Attorney Gavin Westmore. He is an old school chum of Alex Worth’s and Anastasia feels he might get her a meet with the Worths and help her get to the bottom of this. And if they find each other along they way…

I’ll say it right here. Hunter Worth is an ASS. I've read all the Worth series to date and Hunter has been an arrogant sob in each and every one. Other than that I loved this story.

    Great Story

Another great story on the Worth series. For those who haven't read the first 3 books in this series should read them first before jumping on this one. Can't wait for the Renaldi series...

    LOVE IT!!!

This was the conclusion of the worth family saga and I loved it. Not really what I expected. The main character in this story is a little 'poor me" about everything.I kinda wanted to tell her to put her big girl panties on. But overall I think this is a good read.

As posted on The Smutty Kitty

    4 out of 5 Licks

I am sad to see this series come to an end but I have a feeling there might be another one springing out of this (please Karen please!). Anastasia (Stasia) is certainly going through a rough patch. After her father dies she learns during the reading of his will that not only is he not her real father she is completely cut off from the family business and left to find her own way. Gavin (a sexy lawyer) doesn't expect to fall for Stasia but the chemistry between them is undeniable. I love that Stasia is such a strong willed character, but at times her pity parties became annoying. There were times when I felt like they caused the story to drag a bit. All in all I think Karen captured Stasia's emotions really well though. I can only imagine the turmoil she was going through. Gavin proved he was strong enough to see her through her pain and thankfully the Worth family snuck in to help get them together. It didn't even bother me that I was reading dirty scenes with a hero that shares the name of my 6-year-old son. lol Since I have a hard time letting my characters go I loved that she added an epilogue. It made a perfect ending to the book. I hope we get the opportunity to revisit the Worth/Renaldi crew sometime soon!
