A bit too heavy on the filthy language and f-bombs for my taste.

Don't get this if you don't like reading books with an overuse of the F word. I tried to get past it at first, but then it was just ridiculous. Good thing it was free, I deleted it from my Nook.

Obviously written by a novice. Lack of attention to detail. Mentions the heroine has long hair, then mentions short hair and then long hair, etc. The same thing with outfits. When the book became too graphic I put it down and haven't gone back to it. On thhe positive side, had the beginnings of a good plot.

I loved the plot - the positive image of a woman who is "fuller figured". I enjoyed the fact that the man loved her "curves" because I think many men feel this way. The language was unnecessary...I can't figure out why the author felt that it was necessary at all. If the "f-bomb" doesn't offend you, you'll enjoy the book. I DID feel that there should have been more "romance" and less "raw sex" just for sex purposes.

Loved the storyline, the tug on the heartstrings, and despite other reviewers, the insanely hot sex. What people fail to realize is how difficult it can be to put intangeable feelings into words, in an effort to feel what the character is feeling. Just a couple of words could take me to a place and feeling that I shared with my own partner, drawing me closer to the story at hand. Passion should be embrased, not feared.

I don't agree with the review that said it had to be wrote by a novice! It had a great story line and very believable characters. This book had me hooked from the start and I couldn't put it down until I finished it. I enjoyed the sex scenes very much, they were hot!! There was some parts of the story that were very emotional and had me in tears and some parts that had me LOL and in tears. I thought it was a great book and I plan on buying the rest.

I could not put any of the books in this series down. I so can not wait for the next one. I do not agree with the other person that said it was clearly written by a novice.. No way !!! These are heart warming and lovely storys. You should read them for yourself.

Warm, funny, and an emotional roller coaster! A must read!!

Extremely well written. 250ish pages and the "f word" really is not used that often.. I think those that have complained about it are uptight an annoying. I can count on both hands how many times it's used, less than 9. Very well written and relateable characters. Can't wait for Katie's story!

Get to know the people of Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula...Mara does a wonderful job bringing them to life. The whole series is a well loved favorite I find myself re-visiting over and over again.

After losing a lot of weight the main character goes to her hometown for the sole purpose of having meaningless sex with an old boyfriend, so she'd be mentally ready for the actual guy she wants to go to bed with. Excuse me but this is a shallow character & not worth my time to read about her sleazy worthless endeavors! I was disgusted with this.

I haven't finished the book yet and I probably won't. It couldn't keep my interest. The plot sounded okay, but I can honestly say that I would regret paying for this book if it wasn't free.

This is a really fun story and i will be reading the other two in this series next. I am an adult and reading a swear word here and there does not disturb me.

Great rendition of rekindling the love that never smoldered. You see the twists from the very first chapter, but the author writes it with such a flare that your willing to go for the ride.

Finished in a weekend. Interesting. I Recommend.

I absolutely LOVED this book! I thought the author did a great job of showing how the world is for a normal woman, not the typical size 4 that most books are written about. I Do NOT feel that a novice writer could have drawn me into any book this length and read the entire thing in less than 24 hours. I couldn't putthe book down. Can't wait to read more of this author.

Worth the weight was a little slow at times but still a good Sunday afternoon read.

Nice story that could have been great would have appreciated it without the vulgarity and unnecessary sec scenes and yes that was part of the plot. However it could have been handled much better
