Overview

This book is a collection of some of Lakeisha’s heart pieces and her sincere desire is that this book will be a launching pad for effective change in the lives of many. There are poems on life themes and her desire is to wake up, shake up, bring awareness, healing and progression to the lives of those that read.

“One poet shares not just her poetry, but her road to recovery from emotional turmoil and spiritual darkness. Readers will be blessed and strengthened by her unique testimonies and encouragement. They will be able to feel the presence of God in their hearts and see the inheritance of His love applies to them just as it does to others. Stevenson shares the courage to face life’s negative aspects and turn to the God who brings beauty from ashes.”

–Jack Walton, Xulon Press

“The book itself is quite unique. The author makes it clear that this is more than just a collection of poetry put together for the sake of sales, entertainment or art. For the reader the book will be so much more: healing, therapy, growth, etc.” – Jack Walton, Xulon Press
