Although her new tracks don't sound very much like Christmas songs, they're snappy and peppy and I like them. I wasn't terribly impressed with some of the classics that she covered and don't really care for Silent Night being made to sound like a country song. All in all, it's just OK for me. I did like 8 of the 14 tracks enough to put them on my iPod.

I loved it, I loved her remakes of the songs, Favorite Things, Run, run Rudolph, & Bells will be ringing(my favorite blues song for Christmas, especially this year.=))
Her version of Slient Night will bring a tear or two to your eyes. I loved her new songs, 4 Carats and Wrapped in Red, I happy for her she found love and someone who loves her for her. Her Blue Christmas is a beautiful version of the Elvis Presley Hit. Any pop fan, even adult pop fans from the TRL era will love this album. True not all the songs are "christmasy" enough but it is made for parties, dances, and people who love pop and R&B music like they listened to in their youth. Enjoy my recommendations below.

Kelly Clarkson shines on this album, from her dominant duet with Ronny Dunn on "Baby It's Cold Outside" to the haunting version of "Silent Night" with country superstars Reba and Trisha Yearwood. These plus some awesome new songs make this the holiday CD of the season. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
