LOVE THIS SERIES! The worst thing about Wrath's story is that I read it in a day. Which means now I have to wait till next month for the next New Species book. One of the best things about this series is that Laurann Dohner doesn't waste time recapping things that have happened in previous books. Each story can stand on its own merit. Although it is enhanced if you have read the other books in order, they can be enjoyed individually. LOVE the main characters, Wrath & Lauren. Lauren's best friend, Amanda, made me laugh out loud a few times. Now she is the BEST best friend anyone could have. I hope things work out with her and Flame, always liked him too. So glad that the next book is about Tiger (have already pre-ordered it). He and Valiant are my favorite New Species. Would love to see books about 927 and Breeze too. You will not go wrong with this series. It's incredibly addicting and fun to read.
One thing I wonder about is how people can review a book BEFORE it's issued. That makes no sense to me. Wrath was just released today, but there are reviews that are months old.... What's up with that? I get that professional reviewers get advanced copies sometimes. But the reviews are just "stars", nothing written.

I have enjoyed all of Laurann's other books. I liked this one but thought that the heroines treatment at the hands of the New Speices Officers at the start of the book did not fit with the previous books. I loved the charactor Amanda. The other review that dissed this book because of the fat talk needs help. Skinny people are a minority and need to realize that "fat" people have love-lives just like anyone else and it is just as romantic!

Laurann Dohner has done it again. This one is bound to be another bestseller! I loved the book. The other reviewers who gave it 5 stars pretty much covered everything except for a couple of points.
Where people seemed to think that Lauren was uncomfortable with herself and her weight, I didn't get that impression. She came across as being very comfortable with herself, maybe not happy with society's demands regarding a woman's weight, but she had no problem standing up for herself. She definitely had her head on straight; witness the conversations she had with Wrath in trying to help him overcome his insecurities and fears.
There are some who have also said that the dialogue was juvenile. I didn't think so. Amanda could have been a little less forthright, but she is a perfect foil for Lauren. Amanda will definitely give Flame a run for his money if they ever get together.
Bottom line: This is a great book and a fabulous addition to an outstanding series. Can't wait for Tiger!

All of Mrs.Dohners books are amazing!! I am always in anticiption for her next book in any of her series to be published!! She doesn't keep repeating information (the history) from the previous stories if those characters are involved with the story you are currentlhy reading. You don't have to hear it over an over again in each book, which I trully like. Her stories flow wonderfully as a series or alone. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANY OF HER BOOKS...THERE ARE QUITE A FEW OF THEM...ALL GREAT!! Wrath and Louren's story was wonderful, Louren was a strong and smart women who trully has a great heart. Wrath is such a big love and wish all men could be like him! :)

Have been breathlessly waiting for these pass few months for this book to release. And I'm so glad to say that it's been worth every minute. This may be the best book out of the whole series. While reading Wrath and Lauren story, I felt a whole "Fifty Shades of Grey" vibe emanatingffrom the pages. Laurann, My hats off to you!

I tried to like this book, but it was not her best.
There were too many references to the women's weight and how they were overweight, ugh, who wants to hear that.? This is supposed to be a fantasy, there are no fat ppl in fantasies. I hope the next one is better, and I hope they leave Lauren's friend Amanda out of the other stories, that character was RIDICULOUS!!!!! and also overweight

I loved this book just like her others. But i love the series. I read it in one day...did not want to put it down. I enjoy her spin on all things different with the breed and how badly they are treated but still able to find their mate to help them heal.

Great book, one of my favorites. I felt that the relationship may have moved a little too fast but it still moved smoothly. Cannot wait for the next book to come out!

Wrath's book was good for all of the action, abduction, etc. The love scenes were not hot, had very little if any foreplay before penetration, and the sex lasted a few lines. I like a full page of foreplay and a paragraph or two of hot sex. More is better. Especially when I'm reading a Laurann Dohner book. But The plot was good so this one gets a 3 star. I was hesitant to place this book on my erotic paranormal shelf and only did due to the language used.

Laurann please continue writing New Species Series. Hopefully you can write a sequel on the lives of the first 5 characters as they continue to have a fulfilling life with their mate and children. I can't stop reading about them and their mates. Your stories seem so real and maybe gives the readers a little comfort knowing that there is that kind of love somewhere in the world. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This one made my heart ache a ill more than others! I know they were all treated HORRIBLY but, Wrath really chocked me up!? The love these men feel for there mates make my heart sore! Most people would hold so much hate and anger but, these men all they want is love and family!! Bravo on another fabulous book!!

Wrath has finally been released. Now he is helping find the people who worked for Mercile. This is when he finds his mate. It's not easy to overcome his fears but the right woman always gets her man. I highly recommend this book.
