    One of her best

This book is a lot of fun. The characterizations are beautiful, and the plot, which revolves around a wacky English peer, is a hoot. He has now decided he is going to be the drummer of a popular swing band, despite the fact that the band already has a great drummer, along with a lecherous accordian player and a conductor on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Add to the mix the peer's ditzy daughter and arrogant wife and you can only end up with a dead body.
