If you are looking for some insight on Depression or coping with it, don't look for it in this book. I have Clinical Depression and Anxiety. I pick up this book thinking that I may find some beneficial advise. However after discovering that the author was 70 years old and had not had depression till contracting pneumonia, I became skeptical of how his story would relate to depression. After recovering from his pneumonia he began to be depressed and experience delusions. I am not a Doctor, however I am very informed on the many types of depression and I have never heard of someone having delusions from depression alone, with Bi-polar disorder yes. From what I read his delusions were because of the effects from the pneumonia, such as dehydration and malnourished. I am not saying that his depression was not real, but I for one felt mislead by the title.
