    WELL WORTH THE PURCHASE PRICE

The Description & Setting volume for the Write Great Fiction series might not be the last word on these subjects, or the one book that has it all, but it provides a good overview and plenty of material for further reflection. Well worth the purchase price.

    Great learning tool!

One of the best 'How to's' I have read. The suggested exercises and checklists are excellent. Great tools to use if you are serious about learning to write. Highly recommended, and maintains my interest like a fiction novel.

An essential reference for writers of any genre

A well-written guide to fiction description and setting. Easy to follow hints and guidelines, with exercises that will help you tone those writing muscles to perfection. Even though it is intended for fiction writers, these hints can also improve your non-fiction writing.
