    Heartstorms past part 2

Last time we left off, heartpaw fell in love with willowpaw, but id dosent say why...read on to found out why he loves her..•••••••••••••••••••••••=^~^=•••••••••••••••••••••••••
His eyes widend as he saw her beautifull blue eyes reflecting with her thanks "im..heartpaw" he murmured as he helped her to the shore. Willowpaw scrammbled to her paws, her fur slick with water, her ears low "thanks" she muttered and turned away padding back towards her mentor. "Wait!" Heartpaw scrammbled after her "arnt you going to say your name!" He protested meekly, and lept in front of her. A growl suggested that willowpaw wasent friendly with other clan cats, for she swat him on the head "willowpaw. Now leave me alone and get off sandclan territory" Heartpaw had been so desperate to know her name, that he hadent relized he had stepped across the border, and sandclan scents overwhelmed him, as quickly as he intruded he retreated. His amber gaze lay on willowpaw as she scanned the undergrowth to make sure he had gone, and she retreated after her mentor. Heartpaw sighed and padded back towards the river when an idea popped into his mind "ill swim the gull" he murmured "at the next gathering...and impress willowpaw" he ran back to his camp to tell his father and mentor•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••THE GATHERING••••••••••••••••••
Heartpaws nurvouse gaze scanned the clearin as sandclan cats poured into the clearing like a waterfall into a river, and hope lit in his eyes as he saw the farmiliar white coat of willowpaw, beside her walked falconpaw, Who shot a grimmcing look at him. Heartpaw just glared and padded tiwards the gull and readied himself to dive in. Hailstar, the leader of lakeclan silenced the clans "today, heartpaw, is swimming the gull!" He announced, and gasps and crys of worry ejected from all the clans, And even willowpaw cryed protest. With a deep breath, heartpaw launched himself into the gull, the strong current dragged him under. Hailstar blocked the way to his rescue "wait" he ordered meekly. Heartpaws mother yowled and watched in desperation. Only one cat had ever survived the gull, that was leechpelt, and he looked ready to dive in when heartpaws head appeared and strongly, he swam for the other side of the shore. His paws grasped cool soil and his underpaws felt soft sand, he turned, now was the hardpart, swimming through the current. "Be carefull heartpaw!" A worried call caught his attention..and willowpaw had stood up. Her supporting call had gave him the strength to swim. And he did. He swam strongly through the current untill he felt teeth grasp his scruff "good job my son" tigertail purred. Willowpaw bounded up and pressed her dry flank to his "i was worried..' she murmured "next time..tell me you like me..dont prove it.." she licked his nose "i like you to." ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
"Heartstorm! Willownose! Heartstorm! Willownose!" The clan cheered. HeartStorm stood proudly beside willownose, who joined lakeclan a moon after heartpaw swam the gull, and now they were full fledged warriors. "Congragulations HeartStorm. Willownose" sparrowpelt purred, he padded up with auroatail. Heartstorm smiled "thanks sparrowpelt,". •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
"She shall be called...heatherkit..." Willownose murmured, and licked a small brown shekit that suckled at her belly. "I love you willownose" ......
