This is a different way of confronting the creative writing struggle. I found it helpful, insightful, and written in an engaging style. Some of the left brain/right brain exercises are things I now use on a daily basis. Highly recommended for serious writers.

I must have started and stopped at least six different writing projects before I grabbed this book. Tired of staring at a blank screen, I decided to be proactive about my writing or lack thereof and I'm so glad I did. Though writer's block has plagued me many a night, this book actually helped jump start my writing again in ten days! I'm going to recommend this to all my friends.

I was a bit reluctant to believe this book could cure my writer's block in only ten days -- but it did! I can't thank Karen Peterson enough...this is a revolutionary concept. I am telling all of my writer friends to go out and buy this book.

"Write. 10 Days to Overcoming Writer's Block", is a huge waste of time and money. It is no wonder that this book is in the bargain bin.
"Write.," lures you in with a compliment by Kurt Vonnegut on the cover and the first few pages offer hope that, by following Ms. Peterson's advice, you will break through your writer's block in 10 days...
In truth, Ms. Peterson's "research" is unorganized, irrelevant and useless and I doubt that this woman ever wrote a compelling thing in her life. This self proclaimed novelist, claims to have a PH. D and is a former professor at "X" University. I am assuming that this university has very low standards when it comes to choosing faculty. Frankly, I find it difficult to comprehend this woman actually became a public speaker on the subject.
I was going to suggest this "10 Day Plan" was a bunch of hoggle posh but, those words seem too interesting to describe the material between the covers. It, in short, is crap and the only value this book will have in my life is tonight, in my fireplace, when I use it as kindling.
