    The title says it all

This book really IS what the title says - ESSENTIAL for aspiring writers who have the writing skill set to create something marketable but must learn how to navigate the choppy waters of the publishing business. Ms. Price writes in a light-hearted, entertaining fashion from a position of authority and gives plenty of examples of the good, bad and downright u-g-l-y.

I've got a shelf full of books on the craft. This is the book on the business of turning the craft into publishing success.
