    Pick this up if you are stuck...

    I had been writing for days on a project for work and needed a little boost. This book was a great tool for me. It got me going again and i made my deadline!!!

    A Wonderful Book!

    OK, I'm an aspiring writer. That said, I know what I want to write, have been thinking about it for some time and have several book ideas floating around in my head. What I did not have is a framework to do it. I also did not understand what 'pacing' was or how to determine a 'POV' or point of view in my writing. Now I do. Mr. Smith has a great approach which is real nuts and bolts for I would assume anyone with interest in getting a novel off the ground and information to get it published. (Mr.Smith, sorry, I know that was an excessively long sentance) And I'm working on my grammar. The books approach to all of the essentials on working a novel are here. I've looked at several books for help, but this one is simply awesome and not drab in the least. In many instances, he is quite humerous. Do not let the vivid page illistrations throw you, this is a book that will get you the answers you need. I can not say enough great things about this book. Once published, Mr. Smith will be among those I would like to thank, folowing mom, my wife, James V. Smith, Jr., Google (research), the Pepsi Corp (artificial stimuli). Really, no B.S. book is great! Best of luck. Now get off your butt and write something.

    A great beginners guide to writing

    I am thinking of becoming an author and this book has helped to define what i need to begin that pathway. if you need a good start i would get this book.
