I have used _Writer's Reference_ for more than four years. I purchased my first copy as a Freshman in college for my Freshman Comp. class, and I still use it in my high school classroom today. It is the perfect quick reference for those tricky rules and grammatical structures that students have a way of questioning at the moment I forget them. I love the simple, easy-to-use table of contents and the corresponding tabs; they allow me to flip right to the information I need without spending precious class time hunting for the answer to a question. I have used it for my own writing assignments as well, especially when one professor wanted MLA format and one wanted APA format. I highly recommend this handbook for all teachers that use writing in the classroom, as well as for any student or professional that wants to enhance their writing skills quickly and easily. Even a well-kept used copy makes an excellent addition to any reference library.
