    just another point of view

I agree with the previous review, the book is more about grammar than writing. But this book does not teach grammar. It reviews grammar that you already know and helps you find and correct errors you might be making. It also provides links between reviewed subjects and clear, smooth writing that would by expected from a native speaker in college. I used this book as an advanced ESL student and I gotta tell ya: "This is the best review book I have ever used".

Its a grammar book - not a writing book

I used this book this semester and I was very disappointed. I teach writing and this book was not helpful. I had to use a different book to actually teach the students how to write better.
