Pamela Douglas' Writing the TV Drama Series is an easy to use compilation of the fundamentals of being a television writer. It is a good source of information for those considering or pursueing a career in writing for television. Including charts, interviews, pictures, and explanations in easy-to-understand language, any student from middle school to college could learn from this book. The most helpful sections may be the guidelines for writing your own episode or starting up a series with rules on what to do and what to avoid. I would recommend this book to those interested in television writing or for those starting out in the profession that should keep the content in their minds to succeed. Was this review helpful?
