    Very good read

    For a first book this is a very good fantasy story. I couldn't put it down and I hope the writer is already working on a second one. If you like fantasy this is awesome.

    Pretty Awesome!

    I'm a very hard person to please with a story, but this book had all the twists and turns you could want. I wasn't able to figure out the ending which made it wonderful and there is so much intertwined in the story. I wish the ending was a little more direct but I am hoping it ended this way because there is to be a second. If that is the case, then I can not wait to get ahold of that book!!!

    excellent read

    I really liked this book. As fantasy goes it was great. I like books with dragons and sorcery in them,I love wizards and lots of twists and turns. This book had it all. I also loved the idea of throwing something unexpected in there. One of the characters was an old vampire. I just never thought of putting a vamp in with dragons and wizards. It was pleasantly surprising. I hope this author writes a sequel to this book. I will be looking for it for sure. Great free book.

    Surprisingly Awesome!

    Got this for free so wasn't expecting anything spectacular. Definitely a good read though. Can't wait until he comes out with more, I will definitely buy them!

    Wow!

    What a great story! Couldn't put it down and am anxiously waiting the second installment! Definitely fantasy/sci-fi story. I can't believe it's his first book.

    I want to read the next one!

    I've been reading fantasy novels for about 45 years and this one did not disappoint. The world created by Mr. Galley is fully developed and the characters and plot are well thought out. The story moves along at a good pace with a few twists and turns along the way. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because it does get a little predictable towards the end. But it if you like magic and mayhem, give this one a try. I think you will like it.

    Wonderful!

    I loved everything about this book except the ending....or if i knew if there was going to be a second book. Loved the author's writing style, and loved that the hero has a little bit of darkness!

    Awesome debut novel

    I haven't read a debut novel this good since Eragon. I lovevd this well told complex fantasy. Great twists, mages, dragons, vampires and other mythical creatures.

    Really good

    Really good with characters u cared about. I thoroughly enjoyed the series. But why did one guy put only one star? He even said he liked it. Oh well.

    Beautifully Written Page Turner -- Highest Recommendation

    If you enjoy a great story with adventure, a touch of romance and very real characters you genuinely care about, I cannot recommend this book too highly. The author creates word pictures so beautiful I could see the scenes he describes. The characters are complex and fully developed. The plot moves swiftly and is never boring. There are twists and turns which make this book hard to put down. I love how the author uses his amazing imagination to create a new world which fascinates and surprises the reader. As a cat lover, I have to mention what a treat it is to have a cat play a part in the story. An impressive first book from a very talented young man. I cannot wait to read the sequel.
