Barnes & Noble - Brian Coleman
What the hell does rap music have to do with pro wrestling? Check out the explosive talent here -- Kool Keith, Snoop, Method Man -- paying tribute to the World Wrestling Federation's finest, and it will all make sense: Hard beats and wild words make a perfect soundtrack for the WWF's favorite bile-spewing mat mashers. Basically, WWF AGGRESSI0N uses wrestling as a thematic backdrop to explore the current rap-metal trend and to match frenetic rap styles with their maniacal wrestling counterparts. Witness Mystikal's aggressive insanity on "Game," his salute to grappler Triple H; Kool Keith and ODB rapping on "Wreck" in wacked-out, abstract styles about the equally odd, ...

Witness Mystikal's aggressive insanity on "Game," his salute to grappler Triple H; Kool Keith and ODB rapping on "Wreck" in wacked-out, abstract styles about the equally odd, WWF antihero Mankind; and Ice T's smooth playa rap dedication to The Godfather on "Pimpin' Ain't Easy." Even when the dedications aren't as specific, such as in Method Man's "Know Your Role" for The Rock and WC and Snoop's "Hell Yeah" for Steve Austin, the songs resonate heartily and are guaranteed to shake your sternum. If you're a wrasslin' fan who listens to a lotta George Strait, leave this one on the shelf. But most rap and hard rock fans -- whether they're WWF viewers or not -- will enjoy the body and beat slammin' musical madness.

Fitting lyrics make this a brilliant collection

The CD includes some great original rap music from such legends as ice T and Run DMC. The songs stay in the character with the wrestlers charisma. It is a good compilation in general.

Hot CD or another cash scam

They say agression is rap versions of the wwf theme songs. Well only like 4 songs have to do with the wrestler the others are only rap nonsense. If you want a rappin cd buy this cd but if your looking for the wwf themes go for wwf the music volume 4 not agression.
