Meet the Author

Within weeks of arriving in Wyoming ten years ago, Dina Mishev knew she’d need a lifetime to explore the state. In that time she has dug for dinosaurs, chased outlaws, castrated bulls, ridden the world’s largest jackalope, and learned how to hunt and how to fall gracefully from skis and mountain bikes. She has written about Wyoming and other far flung places for Outside, National Geographic Adventure, Cooking Light, Shape, and Skiing magazines. Dina Mishev lives in Jackson.
