Overview

Narrator Todd McLaren does a fine job depicting the romance between Erianne Mitchell and architect Ty Mosby. Erianne has known and loved Ty most of her life. Since she's gone to work for him doing cost estimates, her feelings have only deepened. But when he thinks she's betrayed him, he casts her aside, not realizing that she's pregnant. She flees to Wyoming, prepared to raise her child herself. McLaren portrays characters who range from Erianne's elderly aunt to a deep-voiced ranch hand. He brings quiet dignity to his portrayal of Erianne when she proclaims her innocence and captures Ty's dismay and frustration when he realizes he's made a terrible mistake.
