    Phoenix Endsong

Phoenix Endsong was great, but I thought there needed to be a little bit more... love stuff with her and Cyclops. But other than that... very good choice. I LOVE any books about the Phoenix, cause they always have interesting stuff in them. I don't enjoy the ones that have none of the main ones: Jean, Scott, Logan, and Rogue. I personally HATE ROGUE! SHE HAS NO POINT IN THIS X-MEN THING! Anyway, read the book!

X-Men: Phoenix Endsong is okay but not great.

X-Men: Phoenix endsong is okay but not great. This X-men story ressurects Jean Grey/Phoenix again! the story has happend one too many times. I think this what happens when Marvel comics decides to cash in the Jean Grey/Phoenix storyline. Greg Pak and Greg land tells a story that is unlike the original X-Men: Dark Phoenix Saga storyline by Chris Claremont and John Byrne. Chris Claremont has a better understanding of what the Phoenix was about. Greg Pak tells another ressurection story that is lame. Greg Land's art is beautiful, Greg land's women are pretty. But his photo-realistic style becomes tiresome after you look at it more times, and becomes bland. I think the X-Men: Dark Phoenix Saga was a better story than this one. Buy that graphic novel instead of this one.

The Phoenix: Life, Death, Fire and a Great Read

Grant Morrison's run on the X-Men was fantastic and set the standard for how the X-Men will be written for years to come. Unfortunately, not everybody understood the New X-MEN story line. Luckily, Greg Pak did. And he shows this by continuing Morrison's brilliance by writing Phoenix - Endsong. In this story, Pak not only brings Jean Grey back from the dead - again - but also finally adds closure to what the Phoenix Force is, and why it is linked to Jean Grey. Furthermore, Pak makes new ground with Scott 'Cyclops' Summers and his growing relationship with Emma Frost. I'd love to say more, but I can't, because you really got to buy this trade paperback.
