I am always a sucker for alternate universes, timelines, and realities. Here in Age Of X Mike Carey throws us right into the ix and we as readers have to try to figure the whats and whys. While this world was very familiar to others it was still very interesting and made for a really good read. The standout parts of the story were the back story to Basilisk and Legacy. The art, by multiple artists was good across the board. I really enjoyed this except I hated the two Age Of X Universe books that, given what the world is, shouldn’t have existed and make no sense. Overall a fun read!
