One of the most interesting books on the market today, Carey and Bachalo's X-Men is always and incredible read. Their run starts here, setting the pace with probably the most unlikely--but still effective--X-Men lineups in history. Rogue, Iceman, Cannonball, Cable, Mystique, Sabretooth (who's still as evil as ever), Lady Mastermind, and Omega Sentinel--a team that shouldn't work, either for internal conflicts or because SHIELD would be after them. Despite the adversity, inside and outside the X-Men, this team comes together and gives us an intertaining ride.
