Each track is amazing, well made , soulfull and intense, fun.
A beautiful artist!a great cd!
This was my first CD by NE-YO and was given to me as a birthday gift. I was pleased to find many familiar songs and found his music appeal very similar to Luther Vandross. Pleasant and heartfelt as well as easy listening.

The songs in here that empower women and sings about them in a respectful manner, while still making them songs that young teens will love. Ne-Yo is keeping up the great music he has been making for years, getting better and better with each album or single he comes out with.

So of course his biggest fan had to stop by and comment. This album is not like the other 2. This album is more pop which is okay, but don't forget what you put out in the beginning. I'm still trying to understand the title Year of the Gentleman and how it relates to the songs(or was it just supposed 2 relate to him?). However, Ne-Yo has a gift. He can write from a female and male point of view. Like the other reviewer said he doesn't have the sexy songs like Mirror and Say It, so he needs to work on that for the next album. I hate to say it but this CD had to grow on me. Which in the end I like it. My favorites are Mad, Why Does She Stay, Fade Into the Background, So You Can Cry, and Back To What You Know. Can't wait for the next album.

okay sooo i bought this album and his other two albums i tryed something new for a change i think this album is okay its not his best work i see alot of artists come and go these days but one of my favorite artists went straight downhill because he could not afford to make his next studio album a cd instead he made it a dualdisc which is a complete waste of time and money i lost all hope for that artist but since i got into neyo i know what real music sounds like but im a metalhead on my own spare time i listen to britney spears and madonna and yes i am a metalhead who loves listening to pop music neyo has a amazing singing voice but hes been very well lately on the billboard charts neyo is awesome just awesome

Ne-Yo has done it again for me. This album is really good. I love the Songs Closer and Miss Independent but i also have some other Fav's on the Album. Even though he does'nt have a Oh So Sexy song on this album like his other two " Mirror & Say It" This is still a great album overall! I would Rec. this Cd to any of his Fans!
