Any book that has two stories by Peter S. Beagle is going to be worth your time, but this also features some great stuff by James Morrow (a steampunk story called "Lady Witherspoon's Solution"), Elizabeth Bear (a Cthulhu mythos story called "Shoggoths in Bloom") and a flat-out classic story by James Stoddard called "The First Editions". It's a pity the book is mostly being distributed electronically; I've been buying these YEAR'S BEST FANTASY volumes since the first one, and they're just getting better as the years go by. Luckily, it's also being sold as a print-on-demand title, which is how I got my copy. It's actually a nicer-looking trade paperback its mass-market predecessors, but you won't find a copy of it in book stores...you'll have to order it on-line. Still, with the stellar quality of the stories in this book, it's well worth the extra trouble to get yourself a copy.
