Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

"Highly original and challenging . . . a rich stimulus for a range of ages."  —Books for Keeps

Children's Literature
In this die cut board book, yellow round is the star. He is a stick figure, something a kid might draw. The focus of this book is opposites—below/above, far/near, undressed/dressed, angry/calm, tidy/messy, ill/better. The pairings are shown as kids turn the pages. Some of the choices are unusual, such as tidy versus messy and ill versus better, the meaning of the latter being very difficult to discern from the illustration. Yellow may only appeal to kids with healthy imaginations. This is an import and may not be as effective with its intended audience in the U.S. as it was in France. 2002, Milet Publishing Ltd.,
