Book 5 in the Yellowstone Romance Series

Dan Osborne has one ambition in life. He wants to be a permanent park ranger in Yellowstone National Park, a place where his family roots run deep. He’ll do just about anything to make his dream a reality. When a pretty tourist tells him an incredible story about his ancestors, his dreams might be realized sooner than he hoped.

Jana Evans’ best friend traveled back in time for true love. Not only is a weathered diary proof that she survived, so is the handsome park ranger standing before Jana now. Her immediate attraction to Aimee’s descendant leaves her disturbed and confused, and she rushes back home to the safety of a normal life. An unexpected phone call months later from the very man she wanted to put out of her mind forces her back to Yellowstone. He has news that Aimee met with an untimely death. Is she willing to follow him 200 years into the past to save her best friend’s life?

Dan is convinced that Jana holds the key to finding the device that makes time travel possible. He hasn’t stopped thinking about her since their one brief encounter months ago. A journey into the past could not only set things in place for his own future, but it might also bring Jana back into his life. Will the truth about his motives shatter any chance they might have at love?

Well Peggy, I am sorry to see the end of this series and feeling a little sad. For the last two weeks everytime I had a chance, I've picked up one of the books in this series and found it very hard to put down.I've laugh with, cried with and worried along with all the characters through each of the books. Readers, if you love reading a wonderful romance without a lot of explicit sex and no foul language than this series is for you. But please start with the first one. Highly recommend. JudyE

I was intrigued about Jana and Dan who met in the epilogue of Book 1 Yellowstone Heart Song. I was sorry to see that Dan lied to Jana but was pleased to see that he was determined to redeem himself. His ultimate sacrifice for the woman he loved and his ancestors brought me to tears. Very well written story!

Yellowstone Romance Series by Peggy L. Henderson I love the way Peggy L. Henderson describes her characters and their interactions as well as the scenery in such vivid detail. I could hardly wait to read all the stories in the Yellowstone Romance Series. It took me two days but I set aside time and read them all. I recommend reading in order as prescribed below as the series does build on previous books: Prologue to Yellowstone Heart Song (located free at author's website) Yellowstone Heart Song #1 1/16/2012 Yellowstone Redemption #2 2/3/2012 Yellowstone Awakening #3 2/29/2012 Yellowstone Dawn #4 4/15/2012 Yellowstone Deception #5 7/17/2012 A Yellowstone Christmas (novella) #6 11/18/2012 A Yellowstone Promise (novella) #7 7/21/2014 A Yellowstone Season of Giving #8 11/19/2014 I highly recommend this author as one of the best writers of romantic western history and time travel. I am currently starting on the next two sets of her books the Teton Romance Trilogy and Second Chances Time Travel Romance series. I have read other recommendations that these stories are just as good and some even better than the ones above (will let you know my opinion at a later date).

GAH! I can't believe that this is the last book of the series. All of the books and novellas are truly very enjoyable. I was tickled when I started this ebook and saw that it was about Jana and Dan. Was I the only one who cried when... You're just going to have to read this for yourself. Once more, right when I thought, "This sucks! Poor Jana!" Peggy twists the story and makes the impossible possible!

This has been one of the best time traveling series I have ever read, even though two books out of the five don't involve any time traveling, but instead gives us a rich history of this beautiful park and we get to read about some amazing characters! Jana and Dan's story was very lovely, despite his lies and deception. They made a lovely couple and there's something like great Karma involved when Aimee's BFF ends up with one of her ancestors....classic! It was great to experience the wilderness of Yellowstone again prior to it preservation and to see the people who started it all...Aimee and Daniel! (Elk Runner as well...) Sad to see this series come to an end but so glad I came across it and was able to enjoy it to its fullest! SR
