Meet the Author

I like writing books about life. No matter the genre - straight fiction, paranormal, thriller, children's fiction, science fiction, or memoirs, I like creating characters with deep, rich lives.

I'm originally from California, where I ran a flower shop and then later, a preschool with my wife, Cindy, before taking a chance in 2008 to pursue my dream of writing for a living. I gave up security for the chance to share my stories.

I launched Collective Inkwell with my writing partner, David Wright (davidwwright.com). We had previously ghostwritten books for clients and copy for businesses. Now, we're excited to focus on our own books.

I live in Ohio with my wife and two children.

    Awesome

    This is a different way to read but i am sort of used to reading a story and finishing it- I do not mind so long as it eventually ends been down this rd b 4 then something happpend 2 the writer and u never know the ending- i really hate that- but again, the story so far really rocks!

    I really enjoyed the episodes. I wasn't sure if the format would

    I really enjoyed the episodes. I wasn't sure if the format would be strange but was glad I bought the book that had all episodes of season 1. I would not want to wait for each episode. Buy the whole season!
    The first night I started to read this - I woke up in a panic and actually reached behind me to make sure my husband was still there. Scared me to death. About the only thing i have to say negative, is that with the exception of Charlie and Luis, I have not gotten attached to any of the characters. I am eager to find out what happens to each of them but I do not care if they survive or not.
    Does anyone know when Barnes & Noble will have season 2 available? You can purchase it for the kindle at this point...

    OMG - EXCELLENT!

    Loved the episodes! I am waiting for more! Short but connected making them into a chapter by chapter read. I thought I would hate this format but found it refreshing. The zombie experience is great!

    Ok read

    This was a fairly easy read, less than 120 pages. Reminded me of stephen kings 'the langoliers'. Im not a huge fan of books that come in episodes but all in all a decent read.

    Part 1 of Yesterday¿s Gone grabbed me from the start and I can¿t wait for the next installment. You¿ll be on the edge of your seat as you follow the characters through perilous times and an uncertain future. YG is haunting, exciting, and riveting.
