You know that dreadful feeling you get in the middle of a book when you know the author is going to copy another work? Not one little thing or a similar thing, but EVERY event from another novel just changing names and locations? Yeah, this one started around midway going from something interesting and maybe different into a recap of another story. 1. New girl from big city moves to smaller town. 2. Super sexy standoffish dude takes notice. 3. Super sexy paranormal guy is intrigued because he can't use his super powers to 'sense' new girl 4. Lurve. 5. Showing off your paranormal skills because it feels nice to be honest 6. Been in your paramour's room while they were sleeping 7. Fight between good guys and bad guys over the girl in the woods. 8. Girl fights for life due to poisoning 9. Boy breaks up with girl to save her. 10. Girl puts on brave face for father.

Wow. That's all I can say. By the way, best plot twist ever!! Didn't even see it coming until it smacked me in the face. Warning: this book is the kind of book that will have you reading it until 4 in the morning. Trust me, I did.

I bought this ebook in the smashwords website and all I can say is that this is a really nice addition to everything I've read recently. The main character, Kalista, is really likable and Tristan...well, you'll get those sharp tickles in your stomach every time you see him. I am torn, though. I don't want to say much but, there's this guy too, Caleb...he tugs at my heart. I definitely want to see more of him in the next book. I am just dying to read the next book!!!

I really was impressed with the book, it was similar to Twilight series books which appeals to me, maybe not to all. But it was a bit more passionate and adult which I really liked. I am so disappointing that I can't find the second book on BN.

Overall, this was a great book. I loved all of the different character's personalities. I also found the story line unique in it's own way. It's not a normal werewolf+'special' person story like most others are. There's twists that actually have no solution at the end of THIS book. It definitely leaves me craving for more. I think it's definitely worth the money.

WOW. Awesome. Just plainly awesome. I loved everything about this book. Kalista, the lead character, is so likable, and the story...just wow. For the few bucks you're giving away, this is a very good written piece. Yes, there are a few typos here and there, but nothing too striking. The story wraps you completely within its pages. I can't wait for the next book! I am rooting for Caleb!

This book will have you on the edge of your seat with its fast paced plot ,the main charecter kalista moves to a new town and meets the new handsome and secretive tristan and immideiately fells a sort of drawing to him . That part makes it sound just like any normal teenage drama that's practically copied word for word ,but after a while the story develops its very own unique sequence of events that had me turn the pages as fast as I could . It was especially intresting to see the dark glimpses into one of the enemys minds(who possibly might be something much more important to the story) .although I suggest to not read this book until the author has at least made it offical for real that the next book will be coming out because if not you'll be clawing your hair out after you read the first book because you have to wait for the second.
