    Don't bother.

    I thought this book would be helpful in actually beginning some yoga, but it only really talked about the different types of yoga. Didn't really get you started with more than one or two poses. Not really what I was looking for.

    Terrific for beginners

    This is a terrific beginners guide to starting yoga, it really allows you to understand it and do the moves correctly.

    Not a yoga book

    This book is all text, and poorly written. Not very good for yoga-beginners after all, but I did just pay $1. Get what you pay for.

    Waste of money

    Wish i could have my dollar back. Completely useless book. Theres no instructions on how to do yoga. Just a bunch of babbling that yoga and meditation are good for you. It also had a lot of typos.

    Fantastic for Yoga Newbies!

    If you're looking for a Yoga book to assist you in understanding what Yoga really means and how it can transform you; mind, body, and soul using your own faith whatever it may be, then, this is truly the book for you!

    To think I've taken many Yoga classes and didnt have the foundational knowledge and felt uncomfortable with their chants because of this lack of information hindered my continuation in the practice in whole. After reading the first chapter it all makes sense! Yoga is to be used to control the stresses and relieve ailments, which in fact affects our daily health.

    I wholeheartedly and highly recommend this very, to the point read for Yoga Newbies like me!

    wow, what a dud.

    This book is so poorly written, it's painful to push through. The author focuses on assuring the reader that yoga is not a religion, and avoids anything that remotely resembles practical advise. I will now have to buy another book in order to find the basic information that I was looking for in this one.

    This 'book' contains no actual information. Only a series of random paragraphs rife with misspellings and errors. I recommend staying away from it; I plan to delete it after posting this review.

    Dont bother - one star is too many

    Unless you have never heard the word "yoga" this book will tell u nothing u didn't alreadt know. What a waste of time and money
