A great starter book for anyone looking to start a yoga practice or learn more about yoga. Feuerstein's other books are very academic and in depth, this book is an abridged version of some of his more scholarly work. A definite to help forge an understanding of the yogic path, how to choose a teacher and more.

This is a great book if you are new to yoga and want to understand what it is exactly. I read two yoga books before purchasing this book; and I wish I would have read this one first becuase it helped me better understand the other two!

Simple enough even for us "dummies" who are interested in learning more about yoga without all the pretension. Easy to follow instructions. Even my yoga friend and teacher recommends this book!
