this +Pilates for Wimps makes the perfect gift!

I know so many people who want to jump on the fitness train but just can't get started. Getting started is the hardest part. These two For Wimps books are simply the best books you could buy, on the two most popular, and most effecient forms of exercise out there. I can't think of anyone on my gift-giving list who wouldn't enjoy them. Aunts, Uncles, Siblings,Parents, Grandparents, and my super athletic cousins are ALL getting this package!

    Fabulous Results!

After using this book for only a week, I am now able to get in and out of my Corvette so much more easily than I have ever been able to in the past. Yoga for Wimps really works! I am 55 and very stiff from 25 years in the army. I had tried yoga classes in the past and they have always been much too difficult. This book demonstrates poses that I can actually do and I get great results.

    Why yoga ?

As someone who has Arthritis and who also never had great flexibility this book was recommended to me... so I do likewise. It has been so very good for me as I now can bend over and tie my shoes. For me a great victory! Ms.Austin, has graciously shared a world of stretches and poses that for those who are unable to move freely will find invigorating and so very helpful for their own sense of well being. If you are not intimidated by new experiences and even if you are, try this book and it's contents. It is easily understood as it is visually depicted very clearly as well as verbally explained. You may feel some aches when you begin but THEY ARE WELL WORTH IT!!!!

    Great stress reducer!!

I am currently a cancer patient undergoing chemotherapy and this book has been WONDERFUL in helping me reduce stress and anxiety! I am often tired and sometimes I get depressed as result of the chemo - this book is easy to follow and the photos are clear and plentiful. I took up Yoga in high school and, until aged 24 or 25, followed it religiously. I believe it is why I'm as limber today at 44 as I am. However, getting back into it has helped my physically, and it has also helped me in my state of mind in fighting the cancer.

    A Great New Handbook

I am greatly enjoying using this book to work out my own program. Much as I like my Yoga class, with Yoga For Wimps I can concentrate on my personal needs. Ms. Austin's explanations are clear and delightful and the photographs easy to copy and fun to look at.
