This book is amazing! I have been practicing yoga as a beginner for the last year and a half. Finally found this book and chose to purchase as my yogic guide. I LOVE IT!!! There are so many great aspects about this book. Especially as a woman! If you are exploring yoga, get this book! If you have been practicing yoga, buy this book; you have so much to learn! If you are an avid yogi, this book is also for you because it is a great book to show others!!! Thank you for this awesome book :) Love & Peace

I've been practicing yoga for about 8 years and I still find this to be a useful and motivating book. It is excellent for beginner and advanced yogis. I have given this book as a gift to friends and today I am buying another copy for my adult daughter.

I find books on yoga hard to read and actually follow (I stick to classes or videos) but I found this book very helpful and interesting. I like the way it is organized by stage of life and topic so it's easy to use. Beautiful pictures of average women doing the poses, what the poses are helpful for, and what the movements actually do for your body. It was very interesting to read instead of just flip through and I learned a lot about exactly how my body benefits when I do yoga.
