Yoga Salon

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - James Christopher Monger
Compiled and mixed by Steve and David Gordon, Yoga Salon follows in the meditative footsteps of the duo's successful Buddha-Lounge and Café de Luna series. Contributions from the Gordons, Sophia, Karmacosmic, and others reveal rich tapestry of sound that relies heavily on ethnic instrumentation and atmospheric programming. While it may break little ground in the crowded world of new age, Yoga Salon is an effective companion to casual dinners and brief office visits, and its ethereal worldbeat rhythms, chants, and deep pulses of electronica provide the background for what promises to be a real hot time on the old yoga mat.

    A new kind of Yoga

Love the downtempo tracks for yoga. A first of it's kind that I know of. Love the ethereal world beats and am in love with "Olelo Lohi/Speak Slowly".
