    Yoruba Bible

    This is a great book. i only give it four stars because the author is very ethnocentric in his approach, but does not acknowledge that the information he provides does not count for every Yoruba province. it is also Shangocentric to some extent. but, other than that the author gives great information about the concept of God, great information on the Orishas, wonderful information probably the best to date on the meaning of sacrifice, and the way Yorubas regard medicine. this book is highly recommended to anyone researching the Yoruba religion.
