Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Rosa Roberts
In this three-book compilation of the "Alice" books, adolescent girls will continue on Alice's journey as she navigates from high school to making the preparations of getting ready for college. The trilogy of books consists of Alice in Charge, Incredibly Alice, and Alice on Board. Just like any typical teenager, Alice encounters the many trials and tribulations in her last year of high school. In these three selections, Alice has to deal with some Neo-Nazi teenagers at her school, a classmate confronting an adult for inappropriate behavior, her boyfriend being away at college, and determining what colleges to apply to after high school. Naylor has a knack for getting into the psyche of teenagers and addressing real-life situations to her adolescent audience. The emotions and experiences of Alice will resonate with teenagers in all of the books. The follow-up conclusion of Alice is with Now I'll Tell You Everything. Reviewer: Rosa Roberts
