When I saw the cover of this book, "You are Beautiful in Go

When I saw the cover of this book, "You are Beautiful in God's Eyes" and looked upon the face of the author, Lisa Shaw, with her big beautiful smile looking upward holding a sign in her hands which reads, "I am Beautiful Praise God!" It appears as though a burst of light came shining from heaven upon her face, and I felt this overwhelming presence and love of God. I knew before I opened this book to read it, that it would bless me and be a blessing and encouragement to many. The question is asked on the face of the book, "What does God see when He looks at me?" There are so many women who have experience struggles in their lives feeling unloved, and can't forgive themselves; therefore seeing God as One who sees the ugly and will not forgive them. Lisa unveils the truth of God and His Word of what He sees and how He truly see us when He gazes upon us. She exposes the lies of the enemy of our soul, (our wrong and distorted thinking).
There is a powerful anointing of love upon the words of this book that when you began to read it, you can't put it down until you've completed it; it draws one into the presence of God and you know it is He speaking to you, encouraging you, loving you and healing you. I've had the opportunity to send this book to women in prison who read it and reported how their lives have been touched and thinking changed by reading this book, and they have passed it on to other inmates. I totally recommend this book to women and men. You will be encouraged, blessed and definitely want to bless others with this treasure.

    A Very Inspirational Book!

I am beautiful! Three simple words, yet for many women they are the most difficult words to say. Why? Why do we find it so hard to look in the mirror and see beauty staring back at us? Lisa Shaw addresses my question (and I'm sure many other women) in her book You Are Beautiful in God's Eyes. Lisa's book is an excellent, easy to understand, touching read. It seems almost as if you're sitting across the table from your best girlfriend having a cup of tea and a little heart to heart conversation. First and foremost she invites us to see what God says about us. Next, she takes us into different reasons why we may see ourselves as less than beautiful. Several times as I read I found myself nodding my head because I identified with what I was reading. I found this book to be one that reaches out to encourage and uplift women. I found myself following some of Lisa's closing words at the end. She encourages her readers: "Now, go look in the mirror and smile the biggest smile you can and say I am beautiful in God's eyes. I am filled with His deeper inner beauty! My life and my heart are His." I enjoyed reading this book and would not hesitate to read other books by this author.

You are beautiful in God's eyes touched me

Sis. Lisa, I knew when I ordered this it would go deep within. I decided to write a review here although I actually order the book. I marked it up and cried. I think that what you wrote will help many women to know just how God has made them to be. So many men in the world have made women feel small or unnecessary and some women do the same to each other. We are all important to God. I miss you in Virginia. I'm praying for you. I will keep my remarks anonymous. God has used you, once again, to penetrate my heart and cause me to think about how I am treating myself. Thank you for that. I pray that God would cause this book to reach the hands of many. God bless you.
