CHAPTER 1

God's Treasure with in You

Apostle Paul wrote these powerful words in 2 Corinthians 4:7: 'But we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellence of power may be of God and not of us.'

As we explore and come to understand the treasures of God hidden in your earthen vessel — which is your body — having a soul and being a spirit man, you will be seeing the greatness and the power that is within you, and by seeing that, I believe you will become the best of the best. You are equipped with all that you need to become the best you want to become during your lifetime.

Hidden Treasure

Once upon time, a certain wise king of another kingdom was walking in someone's territory. As he was travelling along from place to place, he realised that there was a special treasure in this territory. What I love about this wise king is that he didn't tell the owner of the land about the treasure, but he offered to buy the whole field from him, knowing very well that if he obtained the ownership of the whole land, he could dig the treasure out and enjoy it.

The owner named the highest price of all prices, but this wise king went back to his kingdom and sold all he had in order to buy the special treasure he saw in that other king's land, and he went back and bought the whole territory. When the previous owner realised what he had missed in the land, it was already too late. The title deed was already legally in the hands of the new owner. The treasure is you; the treasure is the best of the best in you. Yes, you were bought with the highest price.

In Matthew 13:44, he put it this way: 'Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.'

You Are a Masterpiece

The primary purpose of this powerful book is to bring revelational knowledge to all those who lay their hands on this masterpiece of a book. The purpose is to assist all the readers to do a deeper self-introspection and make them aware that they can achieve great things and accomplish more than what they've already done. When you read the manual of the great Creator, he spoke profound words about his great product — man — in Genesis 1:26–28.

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them,

Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

When the Almighty God finished creating the earth in all its fullness, he purposefully created a man in his own image. Have you ever thought about the Creation deeply? It is like a mother and a father who are expecting their unborn baby. One thing good parents will do is to start to prepare a room for the baby before the birth, and during the nine months of pregnancy, the mother and father will start to buy the things for the baby, like clothes, blankets, dummies, bottles, sleeping cot, and many things for the comfort of the coming baby.

In Genesis chapter 1, we see our Heavenly Father preparing the home and all things for his children Adam and Eve to enjoy after their birth. This way, Eden is called a place of delight; it was prepared specifically for them to enjoy it and become the best of the best in it. They were created to have dominion over every living thing — the lions, the big elephants, and all the dragons. Again they were commanded to be fruitful and to multiply and replenish the earth, and to subdue it. They were created to be the best of the best.

The word image is translated from the Hebrew word tselem, and it means 'shape', 'resemblance', 'figure', 'shadow'. A word synonymous to this, likeness, is used in Genesis 5:3: 'And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image [tselem], and named him Seth.' That means we were created with the same likeness and function to the one we come from. We are endowed with all the spiritual, intellectual, and moral likeness of God. Remember, God is a spirit, so he can only create the man in his tselem to be representative of him; the first man was like him in nature, character, and all the attributes.

Just take a moment and give yourself the best hug that you have never offered to any man. Why? Because you are the best of the best of God. Wow, you can as well look in the mirror and give yourself the best kiss of your life; you are a masterpiece. From now on, start to walk like a king or a queen because you are a child of the King of kings. Start to see yourself by the manufacturer's original design; fall in love with the you in you. Don't look at what you see outside and think that's you; a treasure is hidden right within your body. The world has not yet seen the best of you.

It reminds me of the verse that says, 'Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him' (1 Corinthians 2:9). Do you love God? Every morning, look into the mirror and smile with the guy in the mirror and say, 'Wow, I am the best of the best.' Look at your nose, eyes, lips, and head and fall in love with yourself.

If no man asks you for a date, lady, take yourself out and buy yourself the best meal. For my brothers, if ladies don't want you to take them out, take yourself out for dinner and lunch. Why? I want you to start to develop self-confidence about yourself. Don't wait for somebody from somewhere to tell you that they love you. Start to tell yourself that you love yourself. Why? You are the treasure of the most high God.

After the Great I Am finished creating the first man, Adam, he made him the CEO (chief executive officer) of the whole earth — not of a little company you know, like Eskom, or a little government of a nation, but of the whole earth. What a responsibility. Adam was one of his kind, the best of the best of all the creatures. Man is smarter than the fish; thus, he can swim and catch any fish he wants in the sea. Man is wiser than the eagles; thus, he can design a plane and still catch the same majestic bird, the eagle. Man is stronger than any animal on planet earth; thus, he can create a zoo and put every kind of animals he wants in it.

You are the best of the best. You are a product from above. You are wired with all the wisdom, the understanding, the knowledge that you need; you can do anything you desire, and you are equipped to dominate the planet earth. God has built in you the attributes, the character, and the drive to subdue and to rule the natural order on earth. If the eagles can fly higher and the great crocodiles swim deeper, then you can manifest the best of the best in you because it's already in you. We will further explain the word potential in the coming chapters.

Please say these powerful words with me:

* I am like God.

* I can do what God says I can do.

* I will accomplish all that God purposed for me to complete.

* I am unstoppable.

* I know who I am, and I understand the power in me.

* I am going for the best of the best that life can offer.

* I am great and powerful.

* I am strong and courageous.

* I have God's kind of faith.

Wow, congratulations! As you go in this life, keep confessing who you are in Christ. Add many words about you and speak them boldly.

You Are Not Designed to Oppress Your Fellow Men

Because God gave the ability of rulership to men, it has caused other men from all walks of life and from different nations to oppress and put others under slavery. God did not create us to oppress our fellow men but to live with one another in harmony. In our societies, people are afraid of one another, and others think they are better than others. No man is better than you, and don't allow another man to make you feel inferior. You are not born to be oppressed by anything or any fellow man like you. You are not your own.

Apostle Paul put it this way: 'For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's' (1 Corinthians 6:20).

My friend, you cannot afford to miss another day of your life. You are not your own. You belong to the Almighty God. Imagine your biological father being a South African rich man Patrick, but you are still asking food from people and borrowing money to eat on the street. It will be shameful for you and your father. God is your source of all things; it will please him to see you living your life to the best of the best abilities he gave to you. Walk tall and stop acting like a cockroach eating little crumbs of bread when you can own the whole Sunbake bakery. No man must oppress you. You might work for them, but they don't own you; the Heavenly Father is the one who owns you.

Ruling over other human beings — in particular, in an oppressive way as a dictator of others — is not the original plan of our Heavenly Father. The laws of the human government were a result of the fall of man because of sins. Due to the cut of fellowship, man has to be protected against one another, as we see in Genesis 4:8: 'And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.'

So the human government was instituted by God to protect the innocent and the helpless and to restrict the spread of immorality, wickedness, murder, and all manners of sins. Every human being is created uniquely. We all possess the nature and the attributes of Jehovah or God. We are created to live in harmony with one another. Every human being is wired with respect for self as well as others, humility, and many other godly attributes that are mounted within each and every one of us.

We all come from God 'Let us make a man.' And we all have sovereignty over all living things move on earth 'Let them have dominion.' The Almighty God is the father of us all. He is the self-existent one, the Ancient of Days, the I Am that I Am, the Alpha and the Omega. Our God is big; no man can get above him or get beneath him or get around him. He is all-powerful, wow, but see, he took a little part of himself and instilled it in each and every one of us.

That means what is in our Heavenly Father is in every one of us. Everything that God ever intended for everyone, they already have it. You can do anything he asks of you to do. Apostle Paul to the Romans, he put it this way: 'For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren' (Romans 8:29). That means you can look into the future with greater expectations, knowing deep within that the Creator of the universe is with you and that he wants you to become the best of the best.

You can speak boldly and loudly that from today, no more fear, no more worries because you are beginning to talk and walk like Apostle Paul (Romans 8:31–39) and say:

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Display the Best Within

Nothing is more important to God than that the best of the best in you must be on display; the genius in you must come forth. All that God created was made to give him pleasure. We can fulfil our purpose as shippers and exposers of the best of God in us only as long as we live in the right environment and maintain the right fellowship with him. You must make up your mind not to go to the grave with the best of the best in you. Pour your life upon the surface of the earth and release all your potential.

Remember the words of the wise king Solomon in Ecclesiastes 9:10: 'Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.'

Becoming the best of the best is all about robbing the grave. Dr Myles Munroe said, 'The richest place on earth is not the diamonds and gold's mines of the earth but the cemetery.' Many died without delivering what they were born to deliver.

Allow me to tell you this true story about you; it happened long time ago in your life. I am sorry because you didn't see yourself when you were doing it. This story happened on your birthday. On the time when you arrived on planet earth, you made a very serious crying noise. Wow, it was a very terrible cry. Every baby cries when entering planet earth. If it happened that you didn't cry, the midwives would make sure they made you cry to prove that you are alive. You didn't have a choice that day. But you can decide that the day of your exit from this earth will be different from the day of your entry to this earth. Make up your mind that you will die smiling and laughing.

Treasure in the Word of God

The Bible says in Proverbs 2:1–5, 'My son, if you receive my words and treasure up my commandments ... if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures; then you will ... find the knowledge of God.' The Bible is likened to the best treasure in this verse; we must dig into it to find the best for our lives. If we approach the Word of God like a hidden treasure, we gain total access to the knowledge, wisdom, and riches of God for our destinies.

Prophet Isaiah said, 'And I will give thee the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places' (Isaiah 45:3). As a child of God, you have direct access to the secret things of God. That's right. God wants to share his secrets with us! Can you image this? Just picture God bending down to you, cupping his hand, and whispering his secrets into your ear.

In Ephesians 1:9–10, Paul said, 'Making known to us the mystery (secret) of His will (of His plan, of His purpose). [And it is this:] In accordance with His good pleasure (His merciful intention) which He had previously purposed and set forth in Him, [He planned] for the maturity of the times and the climax of the ages to unify all things and head them up and consummate them in Christ, [both] things in heaven and things on the earth.'

God has made his secrets known to the world. We can tap into them. Yet not everyone will attune their ears to this divine treasure that is within them and is in God. Remember, God is his Word, and his Word is him. According to the verse above, the mystery of God is summed up in Christ. Do you treasure Christ? Is your daily life an adventure to find only him? Or are you trapped in an endless maze of self-discovery?

Jesus told his disciples to 'sell all' for a treasure in the heavens. It often requires some self-sacrifice whether it is in materials or possessions, jobs, relationships, etc. Your soul and spirit will never find true satisfaction until it rests solely in the riches of Christ.

So what is your treasure? What does your heart long for? 'For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also' (Luke 12:34). The Bible also says that those who find God as their sole treasure will be a treasure unto him: 'And they shall be Mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up My jewels' (Malachi 3:17).

You can be that precious treasure God wants to bring the best of the best from. As you draw closer to God, you will find that you can become more and more like him, and he will bring forth the best of the best out of you. You are as good as the treasure you seek. He will also protect you and set you apart in a treasure container for the purpose of honouree use. Only the most beautiful and precious jewels are kept for him, and I believe that you are that precious gems for him.
