Too often in life, we wait til the end, to reflect back on all the chances we had to do things differently. Then we wonder why we are suddenly filled with regret for the choices we didn't act upon or roads we didn't take. Too often we fail to follow through with choices because we are being held back by the beliefs it's simply too late and we accept the hand in life we are dealt, instead of taking a step of faith and choosing something different. An opportunity to begin again before it's too late. Best selling author Joyce Meyers invites us all to simply begin again in her latest book You Can Begin Again. Using real life examples of people who have faced challenges that would cause most of us to dig a hole and crawl into, these people chose to begin their lives again with the challenges they each faced. To a man who believed he want to learn to play the piano and did all he could to learn to play his best, who ultimately freezes when he faces his first competition; to a young model who had everything in life going her way, walks unexpectedly into the propeller of an airplane and leaves her with facing a life unlike any she ever had expected if she lived; to a sculpture who was given a gift through a dream that would forever change what he would do with his life after facing a life with no future in it. Joyce couples each of these with biblical examples of people who too, have had to face insurmountable odds stacked against them. How using stories like Jonah and Job we can see that when choosing to follow what God has in store often times leads to blessings beyond our wildest dreams but more importantly how we can chose every day to take one simple action that will lead us in a path for a brighter future instead of falling down and staying down. There is simply too many examples to share with you but know that my copy of her book is filled with passages that I have highlighted to help me when I find myself overwhelmed by the circumstances life hands me unexpectedly. We can learn that despite how we feel we can chose to live a life we dream instead of simply waiting to the end of our lives and wishing we had taken the opportunity to do it sooner rather than not at all. There is simply something in this book for everyone to gain some insight into what you are facing. Do you find yourself struggling with weight loss, finding a job, struggling with loss, health issues, perhaps just finding a reason to get out of bed each morning? Or perhaps you know someone who could use a bit of a motivational push in the right direction? Then pick up this book today and realize that it's simply never too late to begin again! I received You Can Begin Again by Joyce Meyers compliments of Faith Words, a division of Hachette Book Groups for my honest review. I did not receive any monetary compensation for a favorable review and the opinions expressed here are strictly my own. I have loved listening to Joyce's messages for years now and reading her motivational and truly life changing books because she gives it too you straight and doesn't sugar coat anything. She encourages you to leave your pity party of one and take a different path, to live your dream and make it a reality. To rise above the difficulty of life and embrace the blessings God has in store for you. You just never know, the life that you have always wanted, stands right in front of you, if you are willing to simply take a step in the right direction! I easily give this one a 5 out of 5 stars!

Everyone has a past. Some people have a harder time than others letting it go and moving forward. You are the not same person you once were and yet your past haunts you. How do you move forward? Joyce Meyer’s examines all these questions and more in her latest You Can Begin Again. When I read the introduction on the very first page, my heart immediately skipped a beat and I read the words my dad used to say at the end of every sermon “Whoever you are, wherever you are, whatever you’ve been through, it’s never too late to begin again.” As a Pastor’s daughter I heard those words every Sunday growing up. But since I was a kid, I never really thought deeply about them until now, reading them in this book. I think Joyce Meyer has an amazing gift to reach people and this book is no exception. I have a past I’m not proud of and have done things I wish could be forgotten. But I am not the same person. I am forgiven and I am born again. So why do I still straggle with forgiving myself and moving on? It’s a problem that’s more common than not and I wanted the answers just as desperately as anyone else reading this book. I have found myself in the same trap she talks about where I think it’s too late for me. Well I’m only 38 years young. It’s never too late! And it’s that very way of thinking in which we trap ourselves from moving on to the beautiful future God has prepared for each and every one of us, if only we willingly accept it. This book is divided into three sections: New Beginnings, What’s Stopping You? and Today is Your Day. All sections are thought provoking and as she shares her own experience and that of others who have been there, the connection is deeply personal and I found myself relating on so many levels. You Can Begin Again is another incredible read from Joyce Meyer that anyone with a past (so everyone) should read!

Reviewed by Stephen Brayton for Readers' Favorite “Whoever you are, wherever you are, whatever you've been through, it's never too late to begin again.” So writes Joyce Meyer in her latest book, You Can Begin Again, to help you become a better person through God. This book covers three main areas: 1. New beginnings 2. What's stopping you. 3. Today is a new day. Meyer then begins with a story about a musician who learned to play the piano and faltered when he went into a competition. His teacher then said to just start over. She moves on to discuss ways to make today different from yesterday, including attitude, faith, and the realization that your history is not your destiny. She reinforces the idea that it's never to late to begin again. Stories from the Bible discuss those who failed or had several faults stacked against them, and their eventual successes. David, Moses, Peter, Sarah. Beyond, she tells of the accomplishments of well known and not so well known people – Olympic medalist Carrie Strugg, Harlan Sanders, and an Asian woman who passed her driving test...after 949 failures. She discusses how to overcome insecurities, defeating the lies of the enemy, and how to learn from mistakes. There is a plethora of Biblical references, enough that you're overwhelmed if you want to research them all. But that's okay, I don't think she meant for you to take it all in at once. Meyer talks about taking little steps and never giving up. One of the topics she touches upon, and I've seen this in her seminars a lot, is the emphasis on stop pleasing others by being/doing what they want you to be or do. And always, she directs the conversation back to serving God. Leaning on God. Learning from God. Relying on God. You Can Begin Again is a spiritual book full of hope, optimism, faith, and joy. She doesn't say the road will be easy, but it can be wonderful.

I wouldn't worry too much about it as this may just be puppy love, even if it doesn't feel like it. Also, you are going to anither school and will meet new people. Besides, middle school relationships... Just chill, ok? If you really like her, try to find a way to keep in touch, no matter how awkward. We live in the age of instant communication, e.g. email, phone, texting, etc.

Quinn did not know what true love was, until he met this girl named Heather. At first, he loved her because he thought she was beautiful. But as his love for her grew more strong, he realized that appearance wasn't why you loved someone. So he thaught into it and finally knew. He loved her because she was nice, caring, and Quinn could relate some things with her. He talked with her, but never telling the secret. But one day, he was feeling happy and told his friend the secret. A couple months later, the friend betrayed him and told EVERYONE. Life became hell for Quinn, and he was barely holding on. And on the last day of school the next year, the "friend" told reminded everyone about Quinn loving Heather. And hell became burning torture when he found out that Heather loved someone else and that person liked her back. It became really awkward to talk to her now, and Quinn became nervous too because he knew that Heather knew. A little bit of the burden came off when he found out that Heather didn't like the person she liked anymore. He has loved her for 5 years and are going to different schools next year. He has no way of contacting her except for person to person and she is usually crowded with friends and he hasn't spoken to her in a long time. Ok, this story was true, except for the names. Quinn was me, and Heather is the girl that I love. Now that you know my story, please help me.....
