Great book for your marriage, you won't be disappointed.

This book was a good read. Amanda Beth does a good job of using Scripture behind the concepts presented throughout this book, as well as pulling from surveys that she did. The topics covered are ones that most couples deal with and it is a good conversation starter for husbands and wives.

Amanda's book comes right out of the pages of her life and marriage.

Most times PhD's and marriage counselors write books on family and marriage. They gather their information from years of counseling or books they've read on the subject.
What I really like about Amanda's book is her candor and her transparency. Every page of her book comes right from the pages of her hectic, God-centered daily life. She's a stay-at-home mom, by choice, and she and her hustand are raising four children from a todler to a pre-teen. What's she's done in here book is peel her life back and written about the good, the bad and the ugly in her life and marriage. Doing so has enabled her to write a book that would help any readers have a happier home and a better marriage.
This is not a book filled with cookie cutter advice and formulas for success. It's a book about one mom's every day struggles. It's a book about how Amandabeth has allowed God to shape and mold her marriage and her relationship with her husband, children and family.
It's written in a pleasant conversational tone that anyone enjoy. All who read it will identify with one or more points in in the book and benefit from sharing Amandabeth's experiences. I recommend it to all married couples, whether you got married last week or last century and any couple thinking about getting married in the near future.

Recommended for those who have a desire to live the way God intended

"I thought this was a well written, easy to understand book that goes beyond human perspective. It is full of God's wisdom. It teaches God's definition of love and it highlights key verses that answer a lot of questions we have about marriage and raising children. I think this book is a real useful tool that we should always want to read over again to keep it fresh in our minds."

I highly recommend "You Can Have a Happy Family"

Personal stories and experience create interest in a book, and "You Can Have a Happy Family" has both. Amanda Beth draws from her own life to show how you can work through the normal obstacles every relationship faces to build a lasting and happy marriage and family.

Another strength of the book is the integration of Amanda's personal life stories and scripture. Amanda has a great grasp of biblical passages and stories that bear on healthy relationships and marriage.

At times you will find yourself nodding in agreement and smiling at incidents in her family's life that resonate with your own. You'll also be infused with a fresh hope to work on circumstances in your family life that you might have given up on as being impossible to resolve.

"You Can Have a Happy Family" is a great read, and will challenge you to hang in there with your family and do all you can to work things out, press on, and develop the kind of relationships that promote health. I encourage you to spend time with this book.

There is so much HOPE in this great book!

Amanda Beth has written something that's far more than a book! You Can Have A Happy Family, is an emergency rescue manuel for ANY relationship, no matter how far down your situation has sunk. This book is so easy to read, very well written, filled from cover to cover with the hidden secrets to real happiness! Let's face it... what is a life of high achievement, if you don't have a FAMILY to share it with? What is grief, if you don't have a FAMILY to lift you up in life's darkest moments?

Ecclesiastes 4:8-12 NLT says, "This is the case of a man who is all alone, without a child or a brother, yet who works hard to gain as much wealth as he can. But then he asks himself, 'Who am I working for? Why am I giving up so much pleasure now?' It is all so meaningless and depressing. Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.

This book is healing to the broken family... it's a clear map to the kind of relationships you've always dreamed of having! I hope you enjoy it just as much as I have. Thank you Amanda and God bless you for this gift!
