What better way to teach about saving the planet than to print this book on recycled paper! Knowing this right away is a great asset. The introduction draws in readers and allows them to gain insight into how they can be a part of saving the planet by understanding the situation and by implicating ways to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others. Getting this book into the hands of young students, sets up a win-win situation. Seven chapters define the greenhouse effect and cover topics such as reducing, reusing, repairing, recycling, and how to stop polluting our atmosphere. Comic illustrations throughout the book work as attention getters. In addition, fact bars offer extra tidbits of information, and some illustrations depict ways for readers to set up checklists or contracts to get their family involved in making a difference.
