I really enjoyed this guide to the Bible. It helped me understand the background and stories of the books in the Bible. Peter Kreeft writes beautifully about God as he interacts with his people.

A must have book for anyone wishing to gain a better understanding of the Bible. While easy to read, it provides real insights into the background and purpose of each book in both the Old and New Testaments. I have learnt lot and am sure I will refer to it many times in the future

I found this book very easy reading and understandable to use along with a Bible study class. That is what we are doing in our Church group setting. It has been a great help along with the preist help in answering any questions we may have. I would definatly recommend this book for a Bible study group.
