Born and raised in Brooklyn, Stu Michaels was a New York City police officer and detective for twenty years. Moving to Las Vegas in 1990, he worked as a security and investigation executive at the Mirage, Palms, and Luxor resorts before retiring in 2008. He and his wife, Andrea, have two grown daughters, Vicki and Samantha.
