If you like scary books, this may be the book for you.  I have read several Goosebumps books, and this particular one was not as good as the other onesThe beginning of the book starts out with Courtney showing off, and she was making fun of Hat and his friends.  She was trying to scare Hat with his worst nightmare which was a bee.

.  I did not like this book, but I think you might like other Goosebumps. In conclusion, Courtney did get scared because of the mud monsters.  At first, when Hat took her to see the mud monsters, she thought it was a trick. My final review is that this book was not as good as all the other Goosebumps.

    guaranteed to give you goosebumps!

The main characters are Eddie, Hat, Charlene, Molly, and the one that can't be scared: Courtney. She embarrasses Eddie on the class field trip, doesn't fall for the scary snake trick, and insists it's not scary when Hat tries to drop a tarantula on her head and misses! But they know of a legend that goes on in Muddy Creek-The MUD MONSTERS! Luckily, they scare Courtney with the mud monsters; the bad news is that Eddie and the others are scared, too! Definitely one of my second-favorites, but still a good book!

The best part of the book as when the three kids were chasing the kids and fell down. This book reminds me of my two friends.
